This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Staten Island follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The best desi food on the island. The food was fresh, hot flavorful and aromatic. Has good variety of food with well spice levels for everyone. Very friendly owner and staff. Between the dosas, steaming Pompano, biriyani, butter chicken and more at fair prices and portions. Definitely a place to go with the family.

randomly found this place while looking for something to eat when i visited staten island for the first time and it was such a lucky find. i live in brooklyn but twice already i took some friends who were visiting me on the ferry ride to staten island to go to this restaurant because the food is that good. so far i've tried the saag paneer and the paneer butter masala and both have been absolutely incredible. same goes for the pakora and the garlic naan. the staff is super kind and professional. highly recommend this place!

We were passing by after Friday prayers and saw this place and decided to go in for lunch. I think we made the decision ever, I have had one of thr BEST dosas of my life. We also ordered chicken tikka and it was so good. The green chutney was too delicious that came with the tikka. Absolutely love the food here. Keep it up!! I am definitely coming again.

Absolutely wonderful experience! It was our first time trying out this restaurant. We ordered ghee podi masala dosa, chicken dum biryani and masala chai. The dosa was massive, crispy, flavored with ghee and podi, stuffed with perfectly seasoned potato filling. Served with 3 chutneys and Sambar. It was so delicious that we couldn’t stop eating. The best dosa I have had till date in nyc. Chicken biryani was amazing, loved the flavors, spices and perfectly cooked chicken, served with a side of raita. Masala chai was very comforting and soothing. We also got goat biryani take out and that was equally amazing! Succulent pieces of goat in spicy flavor. Would highly recommend this restaurant for dosas and biryanis. Would love to try their curries next.

Mani was very helpful and accommodating even though I came in at 1115am on a Friday morning craving butter shrimp. The rasam soup was the perfect spice level and perfect for a 12 degree day. The butter shrimp was so smooth and the shrimp so fresh. The rice was fluffy and a perfect compliment to the butter sauce. It was creamy and flavorful and Id definitely order it again. Dine in experience was efficient and well done. I will definitely be returning for the food quality and service.
